About

A consulting practice built on listening, not on telling.

LLL Solutions Inc. is owned and run by Ladell Richmond. The work is simple to describe and harder to do: help employers build a real relationship with the people who work for them, so the people stay and the business runs better.

Why this work exists

Every owner we meet has the same story somewhere in the last year: a good employee walked out, and nobody saw it coming. The paperwork called it a resignation. It was usually something smaller and older — a schedule nobody explained, a manager who stopped asking, a problem that got mentioned once and never again.

That is the gap LLL Solutions exists to close. Owners are not failing because they do not care. They are failing because the information that matters never travels from the route or the line back up to the office in a form anybody can act on.

So we go to where the work happens and talk with the people doing it. We ask how they think about their job, their manager and their future. Then we help you understand what they said and what to do about it — coaching your managers on how to keep the conversation going long after we have gone.

We are deliberately not a big firm with a template. This is a small practice, and it works because the person you talk to is the person who does the work.

Where we work

Three industries, three different conversations.

Transportation

Trucking is where this started for us. Long hours alone, a dispatcher on the other end of a phone, and a driver who will quit quietly rather than argue. We help carriers understand the person behind the wheel before the seat goes empty.

Restaurants

A kitchen is the most honest place in any business — everybody knows how everybody feels by the end of a Friday. We help owners and managers use that instead of being caught off guard by it.

Retail

Part-time schedules and constant turnover make it easy to treat floor staff as interchangeable. They are the ones who hear what customers actually want, and they will say it if someone asks.

How we think

Four things we will not compromise on.

  • 01

    Listen before you advise

Nobody at the top of a company can hear what a driver says in the cab at 4am. We go and get that, then bring it back to you in plain language.

  • 02

    Treat people as people

A driver, a cook and a cashier each have a whole life that shapes how they show up. Understanding that is not soft. It is the most practical thing a manager can do.

  • 03

    Say the uncomfortable part

We are not here to tell you everything is fine. If your managers are the reason good people are leaving, you will hear it from us first, and privately.

  • 04

    Leave something behind

The habits have to outlast the engagement. If your team cannot keep doing it without us, we did not finish the job.

Start here

Tell us what is going on with your team.

You do not need a proposal or a formal request. Describe the situation in a sentence or two — a driver who just quit, a kitchen that went quiet, a floor staff that stopped telling you things — and Ladell will tell you honestly whether he can help.

Rather just talk
